Today, we sit down with Dorothy, our dedicated PQA Engineer, to discuss her remarkable commitment to integrity and how it shapes her role within our organization 

1. Can you tell us about your role as the PQA Engineer?

My primary responsibilities include:

• Establishing process systems based on recognized standards such as ISO, CMMI, TQM, or standard process models.

• Monitoring and evaluating process implementation across departments and projects, and proposing improvements for efficient operations.

• Ensuring compliance with rigorous quality management systems and industry standards.

2. What do you find most enjoyable about your current job position?

Every department and individual plays a vital role in the company's operations, it is crucial to always have clear directions and effective processes to ensure smooth and consistent functioning. The exciting part is that after a period of implementation, through observation, experience, and evaluation, we can identify areas for improvement to make our work easier, more efficient, and more professional. It's a continuous journey of innovation and development.

3. How integrity plays a part in your day-to-day responsibilities?

Integrity is at the core of my role. It governs how I conduct internal audits, provide guidance on process improvements, and interact with colleagues and stakeholders. Upholding the highest ethical standards is crucial to maintaining our reputation and the trust of our customers.

4. How do you demonstrate integrity in your work and interactions with others?

Demonstrating integrity starts with leading by example. I strive to be transparent, honest, and consistent in my actions and decisions. I communicate openly and listen to the perspectives of others, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone feels valued. I believe in holding myself accountable and taking responsibility for my actions. When faced with ethical dilemmas, I always prioritize doing what is right, even if it means making tough choices.

5. In your opinion, why is integrity important in STYL Solutions?

Integrity is of paramount importance in STYL Solutions for several reasons. 

• Firstly, it establishes a foundation of trust among colleagues, management, and stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork.

• Secondly, integrity ensures transparency and ethical conduct in all business operations, reinforcing the company's reputation and credibility. 

• Additionally, it upholds a high standard of professionalism and accountability, guiding us to make moral and ethical decisions. 

• Lastly, integrity is vital in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty by consistently delivering quality products and services. 

Integrity cultivates a positive work culture and reinforces STYL Solutions' commitment to ethical excellence.

6. We are ISO 27001 Certificated on April 2023, Please share your journey as a companion with STYL to ISO27001 certification.

When initiating the system construction, ISO 27001 proved to be a relatively new standard for our team members. In the early weeks of working together, difficulties arose, such as: different viewpoints, doubts about the benefits of implementing new additional procedures and regulations and balancing between product development and ISO system establishment posed challenges,... leading to communication bottlenecks and temporary halts. However, fortunately, all team members were driven by the shared objective of advancing our operational practices. We actively sought knowledge, delved deeper into the concepts, and collectively devised more effective approaches, we became better and better through subsequent meetings.

Overall, ISO 27001 represents a significant breakthrough for STYL. We would not have achieved such impressive outcomes without the unanimous commitment toward our common goal.

7. What has inspired you to stay connected with STYL up to the present moment?

While I know several IT products, STYL's offerings have truly impressed and intrigued me. They provide innovative technological solutions, particularly in IoT, that enhance people's lives and contribute to creating better living environments. Noteworthy examples include Tilt Sensor, Smart Buddy, eKiosk and FarmBox… I am confident that at STYL, I will have the opportunity to continue experiencing and contributing to the development of exceptional products.

8. Do you have any advice for young individuals aspiring to pursue a successful career in PQA?

In my view, success in PQA stems from adopting a customer-centric approach and prioritizing user perspectives. Constantly asking questions like how to ensure customer satisfaction, how to improve user experiences, how to deliver high-quality products, and foster mutually beneficial relationships is essential. While PQA may not directly engage with external customers, focusing on developing practical processes that support efficient cross-departmental operations while adhering to standards indirectly contributes to customer satisfaction within the company.

9. Is there anything unique or interesting about you that we haven't learned yet?

I have a strong and cool exterior and I’m not usually one for sweet and overly girly things, but here’s the twist: I absolutely adore bubble milk tea and Vietnamese milk coffee. More interesting is that every time I sip on them, I feel like I’m floating on cloud nine. So don’t be surprised if you occasionally catch me in zombie mode. 😆
