In our team, there is a young girl with a creative and innovative spirit who is not only an outstanding employee but also an inspiration to those around her. 

Let’s meet Sarah Pham – the energetic IT girl.

Could you please introduce yourself, Sarah?

My name is Cong Pham (Sarah), and I am thrilled to be part of the L2/DevOps team here at STYL Company. I am a friendly, easy-going person and a girl who loves working in the technical field. I have always been passionate about technology and enjoy finding creative solutions to enhance my projects. Along with my straightforward and energetic approach, I bring a positive attitude and a can-do spirit to everything I do.

Since joining STYL Solutions, I’ve not only focused on my technical responsibilities but also taken an active role in team-building activities as a member of the STYL Solutions Union Executive Committee. We’re dedicated to innovating our initiatives and bringing joy and camaraderie to our colleagues. Through my role as a Union President on the committee, I aim to improve the company environment, foster connections, and boost team spirit to support each individual's performance and the overall team culture.

 What special motivation has driven you to continuously pursue your current position and advance in your career? 

I love my current job because it gives me the opportunity to gain deep insights into various technological fields and work alongside highly skilled engineers and leaders in the industry. This environment allows me to learn continuously and fuels my passion for the work I do. It also encourages innovative thinking and problem-solving, which are crucial for personal and professional growth. It is this motivation that drives me to strive for excellence and further my career development.

In the Smart Buddy project or any other projects, have you encountered significant challenges? How did you leverage your creativity to overcome these obstacles and find effective solutions?

In the early stages of working on Project Smartbuddy, I encountered significant challenges due to my unfamiliarity with the workflow involving POS systems, card readers, banking transactions, and understanding the Smartbuddy business flow to assist the L1 team in retrieving data from databases. This experience, however, sparked my creativity and pushed me to find innovative solutions. By diving deep into the intricacies of payment processes and the interactions between POS devices, readers, and servers, I gained invaluable insights into banking transactions involving students and parents. The novelty and difficulty of the tasks ignited my curiosity and deepened my passion for my current role. Overcoming these challenges significantly boosted my confidence and problem-solving skills, further fueling my enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth in this dynamic field.

Currently, you are a member of the Trade Union Executive Committee, aiming to innovate employee engagement activities. Could you please introduce the new initiatives of the Trade Union for the company during the 2024 term?

When you become a Union member, we organize various events to enhance team spirit, from informal gatherings to structured activities that foster interpersonal relationships.

A key initiative includes planning trips, fun runs, and outdoor activities to help everyone unwind and de-stress. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial, and the union recognizes this by offering activities that promote relaxation and mental well-being. Whether it's a weekend retreat or an outing, these events allow members to disconnect from work pressures and reconnect with each other.

Do you have any advice or insights on fostering a culture of innovation and creativity in the workplace?

Firstly, valuing colleagues' opinions boosts confidence and sparks innovation. An inclusive environment encourages creativity and the exchange of new ideas.

Secondly, fostering technical knowledge sharing and enhancing soft skills, like critical thinking and problem-solving, strengthens the team. Incorporating coaching sessions and promoting continuous learning keeps the team ahead of industry trends.

Lastly, shaping a positive company culture with an open workspace improves efficiency, morale, and collaboration. Creating opportunities for creative thinking drives innovation and job satisfaction.

This approach helps retain top talent and ensures they contribute to the company’s growth and long-term success.
